Part 1: Phone Consultation
We provide an initial intake consultation via phone or email for parents/guardians seeking mental health services for their children. This meeting allows parents to share reasons for referral, ask questions, and learn more about the services we offer.
Part 2: Assessment and Evaluation
Once intake forms are completed and signed, our Clinical Director conducts a thorough assessment to gather information about the child’s needs, history, and presenting concerns. This evaluation ensures we create a personalized and effective treatment plan tailored to each client.
Child Therapy
Individual therapy sessions help children navigate anxiety, life transitions, sadness, anger, and other challenges. Through guided conversation and evidence-based coping strategies, clients learn to manage emotions and build resilience. After intake and evaluation, each child is matched with the therapist best suited to their needs, increasing the likelihood of successful outcomes.
Pediatric Counseling
We offer counseling for children ages 6–9 experiencing emotional or behavioral concerns such as worry, difficulty adjusting to transitions, sadness, or anger. Our specialized program develops emotional resilience using modalities like bibliotherapy, movement, art, and play-based techniques.
Parenting Therapy
Parenting therapy is designed for parents who want to improve their own emotional well-being while learning strategies to support their child’s development and mental health. Sessions may focus on stress management, coping with parenting challenges, improving parent-child relationships, and addressing personal barriers that impact parenting. This therapy helps parents gain insight, build confidence, and develop healthier family dynamics.
Therapeutic Groups
Our groups cover topics such as stress, anxiety, divorce, mindfulness, and more. In a supportive peer setting, clients improve self-awareness, communication, cooperation, empathy, problem-solving, and other social-emotional skills.
Specialty Courses
Interactive courses focus on areas like stress management, social skills, education, healthy coping strategies, and self-esteem. Clients learn practical skills, explore creativity, and connect with peers of similar age in a collaborative environment.
Parent Consulting
Parent sessions are offered as needed to address a child’s behavior or mental health at home or school. Parents learn practical strategies for effective communication, empathetic boundaries, problem-solving, and confident advocacy in school settings.
Crisis Support Services (R.E.S.E.T Program)
We provide immediate support for clients experiencing emotional distress, including self-injurious behaviors or suicidal ideation. Services include safety assessments, safety planning, and referrals to higher levels of care when necessary to ensure client safety.
We believe that children thrive when they have the help they need to do so.
