Part 1: Phone Consultation
We provide an initial intake consultation via phone or email for parents/guardians seeking mental health services for their children. This meeting allows parents to share reasons for referral, ask questions, and learn more about the services we offer.
Part 2: Assessment and Evaluation
Once intake forms are completed and signed, our Clinical Director conducts a thorough assessment to gather information about the child’s needs, history, and presenting concerns. This evaluation ensures we create a personalized and effective treatment plan tailored to each client.
Child Therapy (Ages 6-16 years old)
Individual therapy helps children work through anxiety, sadness, anger, life changes, and other emotional challenges. Using evidence-based strategies, we help children learn healthy ways to understand and manage their emotions, build confidence, and strengthen resilience. After intake, each child is matched with the therapist best suited to their needs.
Parenting Consultations
Parent consultations are designed to support caregivers in understanding and responding to their child’s emotional or behavioral needs. We offer practical, evidence-based strategies for communication, setting healthy and supportive boundaries, managing behavior at home, and advocating within school settings. This is a private-pay service and is not billed to insurance.
Therapeutic Groups
Our groups help children and teens build social and emotional skills in a supportive peer environment. Topics may include anxiety, stress, divorce, mindfulness, and emotional regulation. Participants build skills in communication, empathy, cooperation, and problem-solving.
Specialty Courses
These interactive courses focus on practical life skills such as coping strategies, stress management, social skills, and self-esteem. Children and teens learn through engaging activities and connect with peers in a structured, supportive setting.
Parent Consulting
These sessions give parents practical tools to better support their child at home and school. We focus on communication, setting clear and empathetic boundaries, behavior support strategies, problem-solving, and school collaboration and advocacy.
