Privacy Policy & Confidentiality 

Your child’s privacy is very important to us. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive space where children and families feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and concerns.

Client information is kept confidential and is not shared with outside parties without written consent, except in situations where disclosure is required by law. Confidentiality is a legal and ethical responsibility that all licensed mental health professionals are required to uphold.

Limits to Confidentiality

There are specific situations where we are required by law to share information in order to protect the safety of the client or others:

• Suspected Abuse or Neglect - We are mandated reporters and must report any suspected child abuse, neglect, or abuse of a dependent or elderly individual.

• Risk of Harm to Others - If a client makes a credible threat of serious harm toward another person, we are required to notify appropriate authorities and take steps to protect the intended individual.

• Risk of Harm to Self - If a client is at risk of harming themselves, we will work collaboratively with the family to ensure safety. If needed, we will take additional steps required by law to protect the client, which may include contacting emergency services or other supports.

Use of Technology & AI

We prioritize your family’s privacy and confidentiality in all aspects of care. We do not use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to record, store, or process therapy sessions. All clinical services and documentation are handled directly by our licensed professionals using secure, HIPAA-compliant systems.
