Discovery Consult (15 min): We offer 1 free consultation via phone. Consults are available to individuals seeking mental health service; it gives the caller an opportunity to share their concerns and needs, and learn about the services offered.
Entrance Session (60 min): We provide an initial session to complete assessments and gather information about the client and their individual needs. The purpose of this meeting is to gain an understanding of the client's presenting problem and history; this helps us provide the best and most appropriate treatment.
Individual Session (45m min): We offer therapy and counseling services to children and adolescents experiencing emotional distress. Individual sessions are perfect for clients who experience anxiety, extreme sadness, anger, and need help with talking things through while learning healthy and effective coping strategies.
School-Based Session (30 min): We offer a 12-week Resiliency Treatment Program (RTP) for school-aged children in grades K - 6. The program is exclusive to children experiencing difficulties (such as, peers, grades, attendance, learning differences, etc.) in the school setting. This program teaches children coping skills and techniques that will help the client to grow and thrive, using modalities like expressive art, dance/movement, mindfulness, Yoga, anger management and social skills training. Family Services (45 min) : We provide family counseling to individuals experiencing difficulty processing issues, such as grief/loss, divorce, abuse, adoption, crisis, transitions/adjustments, trauma, etc. We focus on family roles and helping each family member find healing, and feel cared about through teaching healthy communication skills. Families receive help with working through conflicts, learning how to use empathy in order to increase a supportive family dynamic.
Parent Coaching Services (45 min): We offer one-to-one coaching to parents seeking professional support to address concerning matters related to their child’s behavior/mental health at home or at school. Parents will learn creative ways to communicate with their children, how to problem solve, how to say ‘no’ using empathy, how to address school issues with confidence, and so much more!
Social Skills Group (60 min): We offer a social skills training program for children who are having a hard time connecting with their peers, lack social/emotional awareness, may seem to get in trouble in school for behaving poorly, or even have a learning difference - for example, ADHD. Clients will learn how to identify emotions in themselves and others, learn how to accept feedback, learn how to be a problem solver, take turns, be honest, share, collaborate with others, show empathy, etc. The social skills group members with attain the above skills via games, acting, sketch comedy.
Crisis Support Services (30 min - 60 min): We offer brief crisis care support to individuals experiencing acute emotional stress. Clients will be provided with a safety assessment, receive a safety plan, and be connected to a higher level of care (as needed).
